Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Rupika Studio ("the app", "we"), operated by Rupika, accesses, uses, stores and shares data when a YouTube channel is connected to it. Rupika Studio is an internal tool. It is used only by the Rupika team and only connects to YouTube channels owned by Rupika.
1. YouTube API Services
Rupika Studio uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API). By connecting a channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Data we access
When a channel owner signs in with Google and grants access, the app can access:
- Channel information: channel ID, channel name and the list of videos on that channel.
- Upload permission: the ability to upload videos and set their title, description, tags, thumbnail, visibility and publish time.
- Analytics: aggregated statistics of the connected channel and its videos, such as views, watch time, average view duration and subscriber changes.
The app does not access viewers' personal information, comments, private messages, or any channel that is not owned by Rupika.
3. How we use the data
- To upload and schedule videos produced by Rupika to Rupika's own channels.
- To show Rupika's team how its videos perform, so future videos can be improved.
The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating Rupika's own channels.
4. Storage and security
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored on Rupika's private server, readable only by the app, and are never shown publicly.
- Statistics retrieved from the YouTube Analytics API are stored on the same private server and are refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days.
- Connections to Google are made over HTTPS.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share data obtained through YouTube API Services with any third party. Only the Rupika team can see it.
6. Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. The app itself does not place cookies on viewers' devices.
7. Revoking access and deleting data
- A channel owner can revoke the app's access at any time from the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- When access is revoked, or upon request to studio@rupika.id, we delete the stored tokens and the data obtained through YouTube API Services for that channel within 7 days.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
